I assume since you are on this page you have bad credit. Although  a lot of the time people feel they have bad credit and do not or maybe have one small thing on an otherwise perfect record. With that being said I am going to ask you a question and that is; Do you have all three credit  bureau reports from the last 30 days? If the answer is no then STOP and before going on go to Equifax and get your 3 in one with score report right NOW!

Now what does it look like overall? What is your score? 650 and above your doing ok and keep up paying your bills on time you will get even better! Below 650 this is no good! Time to do some work.

Most people with bad credit did not mean to end up there. There were just some bumps along the way or they were just idiots for a while. Either way it can be fixed!

Here is what to do to help you out. In no way am I a credit repair specialist but do these things and it might help!

TIPS
-Check your reports for any inaccuracies! Such as accounts that are not yours, accounts that are on one bureau more than once, accounts that are not reflecting your true account standing for 30 days prior.
-Dispute any of the above with the credit bureaus. All 3 bureaus have this dispute option online.
-Find all accounts that are showing delinquent, charged off, reposes etc.
-Write down the name and number to the company for those accounts that are on your bureaus. Write down the account numbers as well.
-Review your own personal records for information you have on the account.
-Contact the debtors or collectors and agree to a amount with them. Most old debts can be settled for less than the original amount.
-If you need to make payments arrange a plan that is comfortable for you!
-Get your debt under control and make sure from this point on your paying your bills on time!

Following these steps and not back sliding or getting any other bad debt will help you improve your credit and score over time. I would also recommend doing more research on credit repair.
