We now have answered many questions along our journey of Buying a Car. We have gathered some research, we know what is important to us in Buying A Car, and we have even narrowed down our choices to 3 great Car prospects. Now we MUST make Final Preparations for initial contact with the dealers! I have broken it down below for new cars and for used cars!

For New Cars
-GO to Edmunds.com and price all three of your New Car  choices out with options you want.
-Print out the page that gives you invoice and msrp!
-Print out the page that gives you the TMV price. This is the average of what others are paying in your area. Your goal is to Buy your New Car under this price!
-Check the Insurance rates for the cars with Insurance.com
-DO NOT CONTACT a DEALER yet!

For Used Cars
-Go to www.kbb.com and print out Trade-In Value and Retail Value for your selections of Used Cars. Go to UsedCars.com and look at similar models and pricing. You want to pay as close to if not a bit below trade in for your Used Car.
-Check the Insurance rates for the cars with Insurance.com
-DO NOT CONTACT a DEALER yet!

Now we have gathered all the information we need at this point to make contact with the dealer. It is very IMPORTANT that you DO NOT CONTACT A DEALER until AFTER the NEXT Section.
